30 March, 2012.
The Editor,
The Star.

Dear Sir,

Warning to Dong Zong

I am shocked and dismayed to learn from the article in your esteemed paper (29 March, p. 34) by Mr. M. Veera Pandiyan of the reaction by the Chinese schools organization, Dong Zong to assurances given by the Prime Minister. The articel stated: “But the assurances were snubbed by Dong Zong as ‘hasty and expedient attempts’ to merely counteract the rally.”
I am shocked because of the disrespect shown to our Prime Minister. I am dismayed because this committe, I suppose, consists of responsible citizens.
I shall not waste, nor mince words. I brook no hypocrisy, either.
Who is this committee to behave like that? Let me tell them straight to their faces. Except for a few of them, these Chinese schools teachers, should remember that originally they were (with the Indians) immigrants brought in by the British colonialists to man their colonial economy.
At independence, the Malays (rulers and the ordinary people alike) were big-hearted enough to give them outright citizenship – a thing never done by any other country in the world. I and my parents (Malays to the core) were among those Malays.
Such disrespectful and ungrateful citizens can choose, either to migrate to their countries of origin or other countries, or revolt against the rightful Government. Either way, the patriotic citizens of this country, including me, are ready for any eventuality.
This is not a threat. The Malays have been described by a French writer as, “The getlemen of the East.” I am no Malay racist . The French writer’s description happens to be true.
The Malays are also known by two other characteristics: malu-alah (too polite and often give way to visitors), and, when pressed to the wall, to mengamuk (to run amuck). It happened during the Malacca Sultanate (read Hikayat Hang Tuah), during Mei 13, and in Indonesia during their amuck against the Indonesian Communist Party, the so-called Gestapu in September – October , 1965. Do not let it happen again.
Those who know me know that I have been a rebel in my time and continues to be so. But I have no truck with any group out to intimidate and to commit high treason. I would be the saddest person to see blood shed in our country. But the Malays have a proverb: “Biar putih tulang; jangan putih mata.” Better death than dishonour!
However, the Malays will honour their agreement to with these people. But we shall never, repeat NEVER, allow them to trample on our just rights. To Dong Zong and their likes, we say: “Do not test our patience. There is a limit to our patience. Be warned.”
To all Malay leaders and their non-Malay allies, we say. “Be firm. Be principled. Lead and govern justly and wisely. Prepare for all eventualities. Do not make the mistakes of the past. The fall of Malacca was a mistake. The fall of Pattani was a mistake. The separation of Singapore was mistake. Plan and work for the unity of the Malay World to give new leadership to an ideologically-fallen world, and to work together among all nations for a truly New Just World Order.”

Yours truly,
Sg. Kassim Ahmad

Salam,
Kita berpecah kerana kepentingan ketua kita. Perpaduan Melayu dipertaruhkan & kaum lain bersorak sakan!
Saya juga di beritahu bahawa kaum lain, terutama yg berkelayakan tinggi di sektor awam & swasta sering bermesyuarat sesama mereka, merancang masa depan kaum mereka. Mereka bersama sebagai bangsa tanpa mengira anutan ugama. Semestinya ini semua berjalan 'dibawah tanah'.
Saya pasti kaum Melayu akan kehilangan kesemuanya sambil menyokong pemimpin yg tiada prinsip dim kehidupannya. Di sinilah pentingya suatu ugama yg adil & saksama melalui fahaman tauhid alQuran. Islam menolak kaum Luth!

Salam,
