THE MUSLIM PRAYER

THE MUSLIM PRAYER COMPARED TO THE LORD'S PRAYER

Let me quote the Lord's prayer. "Our Father in Heaven, hallowed by thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy  will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our debts, as we  forgive our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For thy is the kingdom and the power and the glory, for ever. A'men" (The New Testament, Matthew, 9-13).
The Muslim prayer is contained in the first Surah called the Fatehah or The Key. It goes like this: "In the name of God, the Beneficieant and the Merciful. Master of the Day of Judgement. Only You do we worship and from only You do we ask for help. Lead us in the straight path, the path of those whom You bless, nor of those who have deserved wrath, nor of the trespassers."
To explain the crass materialism of the Lord's prayer as compared to the Muslim prayer and its beautiful avoidance of this crass materialism and yet contains man's physical needs we have to put it in framework of Jesus's time. Jesus lived 6,000 years ago. He was a Jew as was Moses. His mother was Maryam and father was unknown , but believed to be a carpenter. Jesus was a special messenger of God. God endowed him with many miracles, curing leprosy and even creating life! Yet the Lord's Prayer is inferior to the Muslim Prayer. While the Muslim prayer majestically avoids this crass materialism, yet it provides for man's physical needs. The so-called hadiths are fabrications hung on the head of Prophet Muhammad without his permission. Prophet Muhammad was warned by God not to initiate any other teaching except the Quran. (See Surah Al-Haaqqah (69), verses 38-48)
The early Muslims, within 30 years, liberated the two empires of then world, the Sassanian and the and most of the Byzantine, to be the number one power for eight centuries. Medieval Europe sat at the feet of Baghdad for three centuries before its Renaissance.
Today where stands the Muslim world? Number seven or eight below the USA, Britain, France, Russia, China, India and even South Korea. Their Islam, the way of life, decreed by God for them has become nothing more than mere rituals. Even then their azan or their call to prayer blithely opposed God's standing order to worship Him alone.
Now God is All-Great and All-Powerful and does not need peoples' worship of Him. It is the people who need to worship God.
This is happening throughout the Muslim world. Where are their leaders and scholars?
